Letter to the Editor

SIR — It is with great disappointment that we’ve read Mr.Olivier’s letter following the Embassy’s response to his article of 22 March. Normally we’re not in the habit of engaging in arguments of such sort, but the language used and misinformation disseminated forces us to react. Admittedly, it is hard to make sense of these commentaries, with the author contradicting himself in every other paragraph and inventing things to respond to.

Letter to the Editor: From Mr. Williams with «if» and «buts»?

SIR – It is truly flattering to see Mr.Martin Williams, a DA city councilor in Johannesburg, so engrossed in all things Russia-related that he continuously dedicates his op-eds to our country. Had he only stuck to facts instead of diving deep into the world of speculations. In the realm of «maybes» one might say that this series of articles could highly likely be a pre-election stunt.
