BRICS Heads of State and Government Hold a Meeting in the Lead-Up to G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan

President of the Federative Republic of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa met on 28 June 2019, on the threshold of the G20 Summit in Osaka. The leaders discussed the future of the cooperation within BRICS, topical challenges and issues of global economy and the role of BRICS in modern political, economic and financial systems.
