President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at the meeting of BRICS leaders with delegation heads from invited states

Vladimir Putin attended a meeting of BRICS leaders with delegation heads from invited states and chairs of certain international associations. Those invited included the leaders of Argentina, Turkey, Jamaica and a number of African states: Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Gabon, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Senegal, the Seychelles, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

In his address, the President of the Russian Federation spoke about the enhancement of economic and investment cooperation between Russia and African states, advocated for active inclusion of the African partner in BRICS cooperation in such priority areas as economy, finance and food security.
